Lokuru children

Life in Lokuru is simple and happens without electricity. Unfortunately, the Solomon Island's government cannot afford to fund education. Schools exist but tuition fees put it out of reach for the children of many families. The bigger picture needs to be considered - Tetepare's future is fundamentally linked to the social and economic health of communities throughout the entire region. The Tetepare Descendents Association at present funds more than a dozen high school scholarships, and it is hoped that this initiative can be expanded considerably.
