A good proportion of the Tetepare Descendents Association live in Lokuru, a village with a population of about 400. Most of those employed by the Tetepare Descendents Association to work on Tetepare were born in Lokuru and return here to live in between their 1-2 week stints of work as rangers, guides and visitor managers.
