Rendova is three times the size of Tetepare and it's nearest neighbour. Many of the people living at its southern end trace their ancestry back to the original inhabitants of Tetepare. Rendova has been extensively logged in recent times - the repercussions of this were the focus of a Russel Hawkins directed documentary made in 2000 entitled 'Since the Company Came'.
