Tim Jarvis, Taher Omari and I travelled to Tetepare in November 2004 to volunteer our time and expertise to the project. Day 1 involved circumnavigating the island with two of Tetepare's four rangers, William and Moses, and tutoring them in methods for the recording of leatherback turtle nesting sites.
